Julien Labro: “The Art of the Accordion”
Recommended Grades: 5th-12th

The Accordion and Bandoneon Virtuoso Julien Labro presents an insightful view into the “Art of the Accordion” beginning with Johann Sebastian Bach to French Chansons and to Argentinian Tangos by Astor Piazzola. Labro’s musical journey has taken him all across North America, Europe, the Middle East and South America. He has collaborated with numerous symphony orchestras and chamber ensembles, and he will appear as a soloist with the Buffalo Philharmonic later this season.

School bus grants are available to help regional school districts bring their students to exhibitions, performances and other programs at the Quick Center.
