F. L. Ruby, author of “Sean Roberts,” will present a writing workshop, “how to write characters, scenes and settings” on Saturday, March 24th at the Olean Public Library from 11am to 1pm. F.L. Ruby holds five degrees, including a doctorate from Columbia University. Prior to a second career as a writer, he was a teacher and school administrator. Sean Roberts is F.L. Ruby’s breakout debut novel published in June 2017. Sean Roberts has been selected for book club studies and has been available in a variety of local book stores and libraries in New York and is available in paperback and e-book at Amazon.
F.L. Ruby has been actively involved in the book club meetings, as well as book signings (including Barnes & Noble), and meet and greet author nights. He has recently discussed Sean Roberts on WMAP radio on Long Island, as well as several local newspaper inquiries.
