Sorrow Estate, led by Laura Johnson, will be returning to the Nancy Howe Auditorium stage at 7pm on Thursday, April 18th.
Known for their poetic lyrics and haunting melodies this group performs a unique blend of folk, rock, and jazz. Sorrow Estate successfully crowd-funded their self-titled, debut album in 2016, and has since been actively touring and promoting the well-received album since. Their new extended play (EP) album, “The Happy EP”, came out in 2017 and has been just as well received as the first.
This program is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts, with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature, and is administered by Tri-County Arts Council. This concert is admission is free and open to the public and will take place in the Nancy Howe Auditorium at the David A. Howe Public Library in Wellsville NY.
