There’s fun for all ages at the Audubon Nature Center’s Snowflake Sustainable Living Festival on Saturday, February 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Outdoors you can take a horse-drawn wagon ride, snowshoe, cross-country ski, watch sled dog demos, pet alpacas, hike with a naturalist, and sample outdoor cooking. Indoors will be live owl and hawk programs, a basket raffle, demos of soap-, basket- and butter-making, wool spinning, leather working, and so much more. And don’t forget the great food! Admission is $6; $2 for ages 3 to15; and free for children two & under. To learn more, visit auduboncnc.org.
