Belfast Central School is proud to present, “Pride and Prejudice”, at the Palmer Opera House on Sunday, May 7th at 2:00 PM. A romantic comedy based on the classic novel by Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice features the fates, failings, and fortunes of the Bennet family. Mrs. Bennet wants to marry off her daughters to men with large incomes. Two wealthy men, Mr. Darcy and Mr. Bingley, come to town. Mr. Collins, the man who will inherit the Bennet estate, comes to visit. Finally, there’s Mr. Wickham, a dashing man in uniform, who seems interested. They are all candidates for marriage, especially for her two eldest, Jane and Elizabeth. But are these men what they really seem?
