As Maya Angelou said, “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” Nevertheless, as any artist can attest, finding a wellspring of inspiration often proves to be quite a challenge. On Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 7 p.m., the Mercyhurst North East Cultural Series hosts artist Jon Chisholm for a presentation on how artists find inspiration for creativity. Originally from Olean, New York, Dr. Chisholm has produced more than 800 works over 50 years and has shown in numerous national and international exhibits, as well as 34 solo exhibits. His ceramic works and mixed media constructions can be found in permanent collections of art centers, universities, and individuals.
