Mirari Brass Quintet in concert

Alex Noppe and Matthew Vangjel (trumpets), Jessie Thoman (horn), Sarah Paradis (trombone), and Stephanie Frye (tuba)
Not only are these seasoned musicians celebrating the success of their ninth season together, they are joyful performers who clearly enjoy their shared objective of making classical music fun. Drawing on inspiration from the great composers, Broadway, jazz and everything in between, Mirari Brass Quintet is nothing short of innovative and exciting. However, their repertoire wouldn’t be complete without several outstanding original compositions thrown in, just for good measure. Following their first album, the success of their second album titled Renewed, Reused, and Recycled brings this lively group into the realm of becoming a household name. On or off stage, this family of friends goes above and beyond. They prioritize music education that “helps to foster the development of complete musicians” by taking into account “all aspects of life as an artist.” With nearly a decade of experience, the music community is fortunate to have their voices leading the youth and their talent entertaining audiences all around the world.
