Edwardian Olean: A Surreal Look Back Through Postals From the Past

Loading Events

This series was created by using antique postcards, featuring locations in the Olean area, and postmarked in Olean during the Edwardian period of 1901-1914. The cards were scanned to create digital files, which were then digitally cleaned-up, colorized, and stitched together to create panoramic scenes from the area’s past. This series of images will be on display at the Olean Public Library for the month of December. Due to the pandemic, the images, along with short write-ups on Olean history, are available to be viewed on the Blog page of lauracolephoto.com. https://www.lauracolephoto.com/the-blog
