Local artist Wendy Skinner will teach a three-week drawing class at the Cuba Circulating Library, beginning Wednesday, Oct. 3. Classes will take place on Oct. 3, 10, & 17 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Students ages 14 & up are encouraged to call the library at 585-968-1668 to register as space is limited. Students will learn to draw with a variety of mediums, such as pencil, charcoal, pastel/colored pencil, pen and ink. This class is a great one for both beginners and advanced students.
Born and raised in Massachusetts, Wendy Skinner has always loved the peaceful, the scenic, the idyllic. Her expression of choice is drawing and her favorite media are colored pencils and pen & ink. She makes signs in her studio in Belmont as well as framing and freelance commissions. She is also the founder and director of The Fountain Arts Center in Belmont and has a passion for cultural awareness in our rural area.
