Comprised of world class percussionists who thrive on energy, precision, and performance, DownBeat Percussion performs in front of more than 70,000 people as the official drumline of the Buffalo Bills!
The group’s first performance with the Bills was during the team’s 2013 Christmas halftime show. Since then the drumline has performed at every home game: in the parking lot for all the tailgaters and those entering Ralph Wilson Stadium; in a three-minute pregame show on the field before Kick-Off; and from the sidelines during the game to hype the crowd after a good play! At holiday time and for Veteran’s Day, the group gives a halftime show.
The members of DownBeat Percussion are all active in the field of education and have dedicated a large portion of their lives to spreading the art of percussion and the opportunities it has to offer. Committed to helping students become the best musicians they can be, the group also provides music educators with the tools and information they need to create an exceptional percussion curriculum.
