Friends of the Arts, set aside Saturday, April 6, 2019 on your calendar to personally support and enjoy the art of the Southern Tier at the Arts Council’s Celebration of the Arts Party. This is their largest annual fundraiser and is held at the Bartlett Country Club featuring a cocktail party with heavy hors d’oeuvres, complimentary wine and beer, and live music. Funds raised at this event provides the Arts Council with a whole year of amazing arts programming, the ability to advocate for arts and culture in the region, and supports local artists with professional development, exhibition and sales opportunities.

Along with the presentation of the Annual Arts & Cultural Awards recognizing the amazing talent in Allegany, Cattaraugus and Chautauqua counties, the cocktail party also features two entertaining events guests can join in on: a wine pull and silent art auction. Buying a $20 chance gets you into the wine pull. A variety of wines of all price ranges will be part of the drawing. Your $20 could get you a bottle worth $100! And if you want to add to your art collection, the silent auction table will be where you will want to keep an eye on the bidding so you can leave with the original artwork you have coveted all night.
