As Buffalo’s cultural ambassador, the Grammy Award-winning Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra opens the Friends of Good Music season for the Quick Center’s 25th anniversary.
Assistant Conductor Glen Cortese will lead the string orchestra of the BPO in popular audience favorites including Mendelssohn’s String Symphony No. 5 in B-flat major and Respighi’s Ancient Airs and Dances Suite #3 along with works by Bartók, Vaughn Williams, and Holst.
The acclaimed sound of the BPO guarantees a distinguished start for the new season.
