On Sunday, July 28th at War Vets Park in Olean restaurateurs and artists come together for the annual food and art lovers event, Taste of Olean / Art in the Park. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. you can stroll the Taste booths, grazing on a little of this and a taste of that, and at Art in the Park see your favorite artists, meet new ones and discover beautiful pieces to take home with you.
This is the 70th year of Art in the Park. The Tri-County Arts Council (formerly the Cattaraugus County Arts Council) is an independent non-profit organization which produces Art in the Park and is dedicated to excellence in fine arts and handcrafted goods as well as promoting the arts and the talented artists and artisans in the area. The Taste of Olean is produced by the Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce to showcase the best of the area’s restaurants with numerous food vendors serving up their mouth-watering selections to the public al fresco. This year food vendors will be taking cash directly, no tickets will be required at the food booths.
