The Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts at St. Bonaventure University in association with Friends of Good Music present Argus String Quartet – Winner of the 2017 Concert Artists Guild International Competition.
Praised for playing with “supreme melodic control and total authority” (Calgary Herald), the Argus Quartet has quickly emerged as one of today’s most dynamic and versatile young ensembles.
The group won First Prize at both the 2017 Concert Artists Guild Victor Elmaleh Competition, and the 2017 M-Prize Chamber Arts Competition. They have performed in many international music centers.
The Argus Quartet is the Graduate Quartet in Residence at the Juilliard School, where they are working closely with the Juilliard String Quartet.
