Alfred University is the host for the MostArts Festival, where the brilliance of timeless classical music and art come together for an entirely new experience. Talented musicians from across the country present chamber music and orchestral performances, and the Young Pianists Competition will be held. Many other arts will be part of this weeklong festival: view artworks in the museums and galleries; attend one day workshops – plein air painting and drawing, clay, creative writing, master gardening and flower arranging, harp playing; see a glass blowing demonstration; learn the history of ceramics at the Inamori-Kyocera Fine Ceramics Museum; and see a presentation by acclaimed ceramic artist Wayne Higby.  July 9-15 in Alfred, New York.
