Alfred, NY, arts venues will throw open their doors all at once every month for the Alfred art Walk in the village.
Seven galleries and the Alfred Ceramic Art Museum will be open to encourage collaboration among art venues in Alfred” on both Alfred University and Alfred State College campuses and in the Village of Alfred.
The initiative is designed to showcase area artists, and national and international talent alike by promoting one evening each month from 6-9 p.m. as a community night for experiencing art.
Organizers suggest participants start their tours at the Scholes Library Gallery on the Alfred University campus because it will only be open from 5-6.
