The David A. Howe Library is pleased to welcome Edgar Award winning author Alex Berenson to the Nancy Howe Auditorium. He is popularly known for his best-selling John Wells series.
After graduating from Yale University with degrees in History and Economics, Mr. Berenson worked as a reporter for the Denver Post, the financial news website TheStreet.com, and The New York Times. During this time, he served two stints as a correspondent in Iraq (2003 and 2004) which led him to write his first of the John Wells novels, The Faithful Spy. This debut novel won him the Mystery Writers of America Edgar Award for Best First Novel. There are now a total of twelve John Wells novels published.
Mr. Berenson will be discussing his writing process as well as holding a book signing, all taking place in the Nancy Howe Auditorium of the David A. Howe Library on Saturday June 2nd at 2pm. Attendees may bring their copy of a book to be signed or books will be available for purchase at the event.
This event is sponsored by the Friends of the David A. Howe Library and is free and open to the public.
