Western Papermaking
( postpone to August 9th if weather is not cooperative) – needs to be outside in Garden at the Patterson Library, Westfield, NY

Workshop participants will learn how to make Western-style sheets of Abaca and/or cotton high quality sheets of paper. Workshop will also cover inclusions and additions (embedding and collage of materials into sheets of paper). Each participants will make 10 + sheets of 8.5×11 handmade sheets. Discussions of sizing and paper treatment will also be covered. Please wear clothing that you can get wet and appropriate footwear (water sandals recommended).
Course limited to 12 participants. Ages 8-adult.
