The Palmer Opera House is hosting The Hick Ups. The Hick Ups are a Bluegrass and Country band from The Southern Tier of Western New York. The band mixes traditional bluegrass, Old Country and Rock songs into an enjoyable, fun format. Whether it be Johnny Cash or Hank Williams, Flatt and Scruggs, or hicked up Rolling Stones or Bangles tunes, the band serves up audience friendly, good-time music.
Bob Muhlbauer, who still fronts the long established Ozone Rangers Band is on guitar, Mike Rocco is on banjo and Jack Little is on bass, both from the old Ellicottville, N.Y. based bluegrass group, Split Rail, and Kevin McClory, formerly of The Usual Suspects, is on dobro. Three and four part harmonies put the icing on a nice musical cake. Admission by donation.
