STCDS meets monthly to dance to live music. We begin with optional potluck supper. Each dance is taught and prompted by a caller. Contra dance has roots in early American history, related to English Country Dance (think Jane Austen) and a cousin of Old Tyme Square Dance. (think barn dancing). We ask a donation of $6- $12, less for children at your descretion. All are welcome, including spectators. A special all day dance is May 13, 2017 beginning at 1 pm.
