Shake on the Lake (SOTL) is a Wyoming County-based not-for-profit professional theatre company, that will bring it’s 2018 summer touring production of William Shakespeare’s RICHARD III to Allegheny County for the first time, on Saturday 8/11/18 at 6.30pm. The performance is offered FREE to the community, as part of a grant from the Cattaraugus Arts Council and NYSCA DEC funding. SOTL creates fast, fun, and physical adaptations of Shakespeare’s plays for audiences in 2018, using simple, actor-driven spectacle, puppetry, improvisation, live music, and audience interaction to create a memorable evening of outdoor theatre in rural communities. The students of Genesee Valley Central School will provide pre-show entertainment starting at 6pm. Come experience what audiences in 9 counties of WNY have been a part of, with SOTL’s 7th season of summer Shakespeare.
