The Cattaraugus County Arts Council is proud to announce the new exhibit at the JCC Olean Campus Center Gallery, “Working With Paper: Debra Eck & Carey Watters,” which features intricate artworks assembled from paper. Debra Eck is an internationally exhibited book and installation artist who works primarily with paper, text and thread. Carey Watters is associate professor of graphic design at University of Wisconsin-Parkside whose current body of work is a direct result of residencies and travels to Italy researching Byzantine architecture, design, and religious reliquaries. The opening reception for this exhibit is free and open to the public on Friday evening, November 4 from 6-8 p.m.
Come and enjoy these intriguing works at the Center Gallery in the JCC College Center on exhibit through December 8. The Cattaraugus County Arts Council works in collaboration with Jamestown Community College to produce this exhibition series. The Center Gallery is open Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m.-7 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m.-3 p.m. The gallery is closed on all college holidays.
