The Cattaraugus County Arts Council is proud to announce the new exhibit of Stephanie McMahon’s large paintings at the JCC Olean Campus Center Gallery. McMahon is an Associate Professor of Painting at Alfred University Division of Drawing, Painting and Photography. McMahon describes her work as “Weaving in and out of referential forms and colors, I leave space for new ideas to emerge in the painting process. Geometric and organic forms merge as gesture and color create tension, revealing both transitory and measured time.”
The exhibit runs through March 9, 2017.
The Cattaraugus County Arts Council works in collaboration with Jamestown Community College to produce this exhibition series. The Center Gallery is open Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m.-7 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m.-3 p.m. The gallery is closed on all college holidays.
