Joan is a local artist and was recently awarded an Individual Artists Grant from the Tri County Arts Council through a 2021 Grant Program made possible with funding
by the New York State Council on the Arts with support from the Office of the Governor and the NYS Legislature.

Her show, Organic Images Through the Eyes of an Artist , will exhibit a colorful, abstract representation of images to demonstrate the beautiful compositions and patterns of nature. With this show she hopes to create a connection to the natural world through art, with a display of these dynamic and organic images.

The art show will be presented at the Olean Public Library Art Gallery from October 2-31. A show opening will be held on Thursday, October 7 from 6:30-8:30 pm, with an artist talk at 7:30pm. A portion of the proceeds from both of her recent shows will go to support non-profit arts education programming.
