The David A. Howe Public Library is pleased to welcome distinguished author Naomi Shihab Nye to the Nancy Howe Auditorium on October 27 at 7pm. Sponsored by Houghton College and the Friends of the Library, Ms. Nye’s reading and discussion is free and open to the public. Immediately following the program, the public is welcome to stay for a reception in the main floor reading rooms with the author catered by the Duke House featuring live music, hors d’oeuvres and a book signing. Reception tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the library. Books by the author will be available to purchase both in the auditorium and in the main reading room.
