Artist-Anthropologist Fileve Tlaloc exhibits something old and something new from past photographic-ethnographic-projects to her latest work on the Humphrey Hills ethnographic mural. In addition to photos from her dissertation work in South African and a sneak preview of a larger exhibit at JCC gallery, the focal point of the exhibit are photos and watercolor paintings from 2021. The project leads up to a mural, which will be installed and on display at Tickletown this spring, depicts the creative entrepreneurial endeavors of the small town.
The show runs until February.
