Enjoy a day of rural adventure inspired with presentations that promote a healthy lifestyle and celebrate our connections to the land in meaningful, creative, sustainable, and educational ways. From 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, visit eight locations around Alfred and Almond, NY and learn about gardening, timber framing, how to basket weave a trellis, raise bees, build a compost bin, home-made soap, a clay bowl using “tools” found in nature, and much more. Take guided walks in the woods learning names of trees, and watching for birds. A kid-friendly, free event created with a labor of love and respect for the earth.
