The ArtHappening begins on Saturday, April 21, at 6 p.m., in St. Luke’s chapel with a brief Earth Day ceremony; including ten minutes of silent meditation and contemplation.
Guests can join the program in the main sanctuary at 6:15. Autumn Echo, Jamestown’s dynamic “Slam Master” poet presents “An Apology to Mother Earth.” The Pillar of Light will be illuminated during her performance.
At 6:30, Bill Ward and the “Earth Day Revue” (The Panfil Brothers and Brian Hanna) will perform nature inspired songs. After the concert, guests are invited to enjoy wine and beer tasting and hors d’oeuvres by Studio D Catering. The programs are non-sectarian, open to the public, and free.
