The entire 7th grade of Bemus Point Center School District was involved with a postage stamp design project. Each student choose a different subject; something worthy of being turned into a postage stamp, from a 100 year time span. They each then designed and painted their image as a U.S. Postage Stamp. Then the designs were printed as post cards (2 for each student). With the help of a local Veterans Coordinator providing the addresses of local veterans,They then write a small paragraph about themselves and to thank the veterans for their service in the military. Finally they addressed the post cards and mailed them to the veterans. 3 winners had their stamp designs turned into real postage stamps.
